I've always been drawn to places where life feels more intentional, where taste, ritual, and atmosphere come together in a way that stays with you.
I was born in Istanbul, a city where tea is more than a drink, it's a moment of connection. It's where generations gather, where conversations flow, where time slows down. That sense of ritual has always stayed with me.
Years later, while traveling through Japan, I experienced something that would completely redefine my path. Matcha, in its purest form. Not the version the world often sees, but true ceremonial-grade matcha: smooth, vibrant, deeply grounding.
It wasn't just the taste, it was the feeling. The precision, the calm, the beauty of the ritual. In that moment, I realized how misunderstood matcha is outside of Japan. And I knew I wanted to bring that authenticity back into the world, in a way that feels both elevated and emotionally connected.
That's how Matcha Bunny was born.
